Global Container Terminals, a client of Sedgwick Strategies, required a video capturing the carving process and narrative of a traditional welcome post by Tsawassen carver, Karl Morgan. Our lens chronicled the entire six-month journey, from the auspicious blessing of the uncarved post to its grand unveiling, all while witnessing the strong relationship between TFN and Delta Police.

BC Housing provided us with basic details of the gifting of the canoe and we connected with the Kwikwetlem First Nations to learn more about the significance of the gift and ceremony. We captured it with two cameras as we didn’t want to miss any moments of the ceremony.

The western distributor of the Fazioli piano (the Lamborghini of pianos) wanted to capture this event and include a fun backstory for the upgraded piano. We wanted to make this video “pop” and dug into our archives and used quick soundbites to enhance the video. We keep an archive for all our clients as a cost free service in case we need to use the videos again. In this case, we had archives from our trip to their factory in Italy, and 3 other previous videos with the earliest one from 2010.

We facilitated the only Canada Day celebration that unified Canadians from coast to coast in a synchronized drumming experience. Our role involved connecting all participating cities, spanning from Halifax, NS to Vancouver, BC, into a cohesive 1.5-hour livestream. Managing the entire content creation for the program, we successfully coordinated with seven remote locations.
